Terms of Service
Last updated 26 September 2026
These terms apply to the use of RouteHire (“the service”), a scheduling and dispatch system for bus and coach charter operators. By signing in or using the service, the operator and its staff agree to them.
Accounts
Accounts are created for an operator’s staff by the operator or by us. Keep your password private and tell us or your operator straight away if you think your account has been misused. The operator is responsible for who it gives access to and for what they do in the service.
Your data
The operator owns the records it puts into RouteHire and is responsible for their accuracy and for having the right to store them, including customers’ and drivers’ personal information. We use those records only to provide and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. The operator can delete its records at any time and can ask us for an export of them.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the service to break the law, to send unsolicited bulk messages, to try to access another operator’s records, or to interfere with the service or its security.
Connected services
Features that connect to Google (Gmail, Google Calendar), Anthropic (reading booking emails) or other providers are optional and also subject to those providers’ terms. Suggestions the service makes from emails, such as draft trip details, should be checked by a person before they are relied on.
Fees
Fees, if any, are as agreed with the operator. The monthly figure shown in the service is a guide to what the service costs to run and what it covers.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and your data safe, including nightly backups, but the service is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change the service, and will give reasonable notice of changes that take away features you rely on.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ending use
An operator can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend access that breaks these terms. When use ends, the operator can ask for an export of its records before they are deleted.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
